Thank you so much for this site! My beautiful Emma was born 9/29/10. She received total body cooling treatment as well. While we are not out of the woods yet, so far my daughter seems to be developing typically. I believe in the power of prayer and modern medicine. Our children are living miracles.

I think Leila's story is amazing, and that your desire to ensure that other parents know CPR through your organization is a fantastic idea. I would love to help. I have emailed you, but please contact me. I will do anything I can to help, and would love to serve on your non profit board of directors!

My daughter also had brain cooling treatment like Sophie's story on your site my baby had meconium aspiration syndrome and had stopped moving, she needed full resuscitation and we were told she'd die or be severely brain damaged, but she's another fantastic success story and she's 3 in a couple of months and I am so grateful that she was included on a research trial and got treatment. Before Rosa my daughter was discharged from hospital we were taught baby cpr and it gave me so much peace of mind just knowing how to do it, every parent should learn. Keep up the good work x x x x

Leila is my niece and she is such a strong willing little girl. When this happened to her I was 6 months pregnant with my 3rd child. Because of everything my brother and his wife went through, my husband and I took a refresher infant CPR class. I am proud of the efforts of Alby and Krissy as well as the paramedics that night! I could not imagine having to perform CPR on my 3 day old child, but thank goodness Alby and Krissy knew what to do. We saw Leila this past weekend (5/15/10). She is a beautiful 2 year old walking around and interacting like any other 2 year old! Her parents as well as the paramedics and doctors should be proud that they saved a life.

I watched Leila's story while I was holding my 6 mo. old and it made me cry...what a beautiful little girl and a beautiful miracle! I'm a paramedic and (honestly) we dread these types of calls--you never want to have to perform CPR on anyone, much less on an infant--but I'm so happy that you were prepared. As a Christian I feel that we should do all that we can, and then leave it in God's hands. I think that everyone should know CPR. Thanks for setting up your foundation to educate others. Best wishes--God bless.

Hello I am so happy I found this through a link n facebook...My daughter Raelee was born 9/9/07. During deliver my placenta riped away and they had to do a emercency c section. Raelee was in bad condition her apgars were a 1 at one minute ahe was medavac to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia where she was the 22nd child to have the head cooling procedure done. She is now a healthy outgoing 2 and half year old. More people need to know about this as my husband and I was going through this we were scared out of our minds Thanku for making more people aware of this and pushin for more hospitals to do this. Raelee was lucky that we had a hospital in our area that did. Thanku!!!!

I am so excited for ya'll to get this foundation up and running!! As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I see the vision for spreading Infant CPR training to all new parents & for getting the hypothermia treatment available in all hospitals. It is a big goal and with God's help and the love of others, it will be accomplished. Ya'll have so much love to share and I know that Leila has a very special life ahead of her. To God be the glory!!!

We wanted to be the first to congratulate you and to wish you the best on the startup of this important organization. Our little Leila has touched so many hearts and lives already, and we all know that God has placed her here for good reason...we are truly blessed, and hopefully this mission will help save the lives of countless little babies whose families wont have to go through the agonies of the past.
